The Uruguay international managed to hit the woodwork a record four times against Chelsea during Liverpool's Premier League clash on Wednesday. That is the most shots hitting the frame of the goal from a single player in a Premier League match since the 2003/04 season, according to .

The Reds cruised past the Blues to register a crucial league win which helped them maintain their five-point lead at the top of the table over Manchester City. Diogo Jota opened the scoring for his club in the 23rd minute before academy graduate Conor Bradley scored a stunning goal to double his team's lead. Dominik Szoboszlai then further extended their lead with a strike in the second half while Luis Diaz sealed the fate of the match in the 79th minute with a fourth goal. Christopher Nkunku, who came as a substitute in the second half, scored a consolation goal for the London club, who put on another sorry display away from home.
